Were you looking for information about
Abreva? Abravia is a common misspelling of Abreva.

Abreva® (docosanol) is a medication used for treating cold sores. It is currently the only over-the-counter drug approved to shorten the duration of symptoms and the healing time. The medication works by changing the cell membranes of healthy, uninfected cells to prevent the cold sore virus from getting into healthy cells. Abreva should be applied directly on the cold sore (at the first signs of a cold sore) five times a day.
