Abreva? Abreeva is a common misspelling of Abreva.

Abreva® is a non-prescription drug used in the treatment of cold sores. It is the only non-prescription drug currently available that has been approved for this use. Abreva cannot prevent future outbreaks; however, it can shorten the healing time and duration of symptoms. The medication is applied directly to the cold sore, and works best if taken at the first sign of an outbreak. Possible side effects include headaches or a stuffy, runny nose.
