Who Should Not Take Zovirax Cream?

You should not take Zovirax cream if you are allergic to Zovirax cream, acyclovir, or any of the inactive components used to make Zovirax cream. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients. Also, you should not use Zovirax cream if you are allergic to Valtrex® (valacyclovir), a similar medication.
